Tuesday 24th – Wednesday 25th December 2024
Today was a busy day of travelling. We returned the hire car and then walked to the New Street Station with all our luggage.
We took the 9:47 train to Euston Station, as we were expecting London to be chaos on Christmas Eve. It wasn’t. We practically skipped our way through the various stations we needed to navigate to arrive at my sister’s house.
The Jack Fruit Expedition
After dropping our bags and a quick hello, we headed off in search of the elusive deep fried jack fruit that Olivia had a yearning for. The search took us through the arts suburb of Peckham.
Let the Christmas Drinks Begin
Tango friends come around to Sally’s on Christmas Eve for champagne and nibbles.
Then the real deal – 25 December
Lots of good food, good fun and good booze.
And so to bed!
